Xerox Audio Visual Solutions is seeking an Audio Visual Service Technician for the Charlotte North Carolina Area
|
Duties: |
• Low voltage cabling installation
• Training customers on the use of systems that we install
• This person will have to pull wire, install wall plates and good soldering skills are needed.
• Good customer skills a must and will outweigh experience in the trade.
|
Qualifications: |
• Experience in commercial AV installations, familiarity with Crestron/AMX controls a plus.
• Experience configuring Extron switchers
• Experience installing and/or configuring Polycom and/or TANDBERG videoconferencing products.
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Good mechanical/fabrication and soldering skills are helpful.
• Ability to accurately read wiring diagrams
• Direct supervisory experience
• This person will sometimes have to travel for periods of 2 to 4 days.
• The job involves some heavy lifting and the person will sometimes have to go up on a lift 25-30 feet.
